The Medical Clinic is open on weekdays between 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Requiring medical attention at any other time is strictly forbidden. The mandatory clinic fee of $120 must be paid in cash before the patient is eligible for any services. The fee is not reimbursable through Sask Health or any major health insurance plan. An additional night time fee of $30 is added after 1 PM. Minor emergencies are prioritized based on urgency and severity of the patient's condition, but patients may bypass the prioritization process by purchasing a V.I.P. card for a fee of $550.

In 2001, the Council voted to combine the positions of the medical and veterinary practitioners. The position is currently held by Benedict Badger, Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (tel. 431 5253). During the doctor's coffee and lunch breaks, patients are looked after by janitor Omar Ulmer (CPR-A).

Outside the operating hours, the Medical Clinic building can be rented for meetings, conferences and other reasonable purposes. Renting inquiries should be directed to janitor Ulmer, tel. 431 5220. Please note: the medicine cabinet can no longer be opened with the renter's master key!

Dental Care

Dentist Ridge Stormberg, BDS

The Dental Clinic can be found in the basement of the Medical Clinic (enter through a hatch in the gent's washroom or directly from outside through the basement window). Office hours are usually on weekdays after noon until about 3 PM or so, depending on the golfing weather. Since 2009, the resident dentist has been Ridge Stormberg, BDS(*), assisted by a rotating volunteer.

Appointments can be booked on Tuesday mornings between 10:00 AM and 10:15 AM, tel. 431 5355.

For dental emergencies occurring outside the operating hours, there's a vending machine behind the Clinic that accepts quarters and spits out Percocet, Diazepam, Vicodin and Xanax.
