Community Gardens make an annual profit of about $900,000, of which two thirds is channeled back to the community, supporting things like the library, local school, homeless shelter, food bank, road maintenance, election campaigns, guerilla warfare in Uzbekistan, and Bullpen Island Arrrt Centre.
Currently over thirty families take part in the program.

The Bullpen Island Arrrt Centre has had a long history within our community. Originally an opera house, the building was completed in 1899 and is still going strong. Displeased by the low quality performers, the villagers torched it twice in the early 1900s. Today it is a thriving art facility focusing on pirate arts, crafts and other creative opportunities, plundering and keel-hauling.
The Bartholomew Roberts Gallery is located on the second floor of the Arrrt Centre and features local and regional pirate art exhibitions. Admission is $3 for adults, $25 for kids. Free admission on September 19th.
